ILOILO 2030

Igniting solutions for Iloilo’s sustainability by 2030.

As a fast growing city and province of the Philippines, and with numerous infrastructure investments like an international container port, airport expansion and inter-island bridges, Iloilo is poised to be a rising global innovation hub of the Philippines. Infrastructure is there, but there are many gaps in the ecosystem.

Particularly 3 things:

  1. The need for a backbone organization to coordinate the stakeholders of the ecosystem;

  2. A lack of Innovation training and mindsets among citizens, schools, and public/private organizations;

  3. The need to have dedicated initiatives to help government, industry, academe and R&D centers collaborate to generate more innovative ventures.

Our Ventures & Initiatives

Panublix Logo 2020-04.png

PANUBLIX

How can we ensure that this innovation-driven economy in Iloilo will benefit our crafts and heritage bearers? How do we make sure we leave no person behind in our quest to advance our society? In the era of Circular Fashion, can we innovate our supply chains so we can produce sustainably?

These are the questions that were asked in the development of Panublix - a platform for made-to-order crafts and weaves from indigenous, artisan and weaving communities in Iloilo, Philippines. From the word "panubli-on" which means "heritage". www.facebook.com/panublix

WELBY

In 2018, Republic Act 11036, otherwise known as the Mental Health Act, was signed into law. Following that, several memoranda have also been released by government agencies such as the Department of Labor and Employment and the Civil Service Commission, mandating public and private organizations to have mental health programs and policies in place. But this remains to be realized. The majority of public and private organizations are yet to establish mental health policies and programs within their own institutions. Welby aims to fill this gap by build effective workplace culture that puts a premium on workforce well-being and creativity. Our experience in human-centered research and assessment, workshop design and facilitation, and talent management will help co-create wellbeing policies and programs with our clients.
